We are pleased to announce the addition of Shawn Small as Director, Business Development to Sponsorship Canada, a division of REVXM.
Shawn is a dynamic leader and highly positive strategic partnership and marketing specialist with 25+ years of expertise in sports business management, sponsorship sales/activation, and key account management. Starting his career with nine years of growth with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, Shawn also spent several years in the marketing agency world focusing on experiential marketing with companies such as the T1 Agency, NewAd Media, and CauseForce. Shawn will use his deep wealth of experience and contacts to assist in revenue generation for the Sponsorship Canada partners.
A first-generation Canadian of Bajan (Barbados) descent, Shawn is the co-founder of Black Lives Rising Media, a social justice initiative with a focus on education and empowerment programs to enrich the Black community for positive growth and global equity.
Shawn is also dedicated to mentoring emerging leaders to thrive and lead with integrity and synergy. Shawn currently participates as a mentor in the Black In Sports Business group as well as on the Canadian Olympic Committee - Emerging Leaders Development Program.
